A collection of 28 topographic maps of different regions of California issued by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and printed between 1900 and 1947. All of the maps in this collection have been digitized by the USC Digital Library as part of the larger Historical California Topographical Maps collection (see the link under "Digital Material").

This collection contains over 200 printed maps and small atlases, from the sixteenth to the twenty-first centuries, relating to the geographic areas of Latin America, including the Caribbean, and Spain and Portugal. Most are not widely held by other libraries, and some are unique to USC.
Yvonne Brathwaite Burke papers: California State Assembly, U.S. Congress, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, and California Attorney General campaign
The Yvonne Brathwaite Burke papers contain the records of the political activities of Yvonne Brathwaite Burke, University of Southern California Gould Law School alumna, state and federal legislator, and county official. Included are records from Burke's tenure in the California Assembly (1966-1972), U.S. Congress (1973-1978), and the Los Angeles Angeles County Board of Supervisor (1979-1980). Records also include her campaign for California State Attorney General (1978).
California clippings collection
This collection of primarily California-related materials was the provenance of Mrs. Walter K. Towers, with some materials from Berenice Towers. Over the span of more than forty years, they saved clippings, magazines, small publications, maps, and other ephemera chiefly on California with an emphasis on Southern California.

Printed ephemera collected by the donor's aunt on a trip to Germany in 1936. Includes a guidebook for Hamburg, 2 postcards and a brochure for the Berlin Central-Hotel, events calendar for the week of July 7-13, 1936 for Berlin, a menu for Das Haus der deutschen Heimat restaurant, a magazine of the Berlin Tourist Association for the week of July 7-13, 1936, and two radio news bulletins from aboard the M.S. Batory dated July 4th and July 6th, 1936.
